Hey there, Brian. Welcome on board. You maybe can grab a copy of this monograph. It's not as simple as a plan, but it includes all dimensions and scantling of the rig for sure.

Hi Brian
If you look on Modelship dockyard site you can download the rigging instructions from there (Free) its a fairly recant model so almost certainly not yours but it may give you a clue

Thank you Alberto.I cant open it to see content.
Welcome to SoS.
I think the picture of the book was to show you that it is something available that could help you if you choose to buy it. It was not meant to be an attachment to open as it is copyrighted so cannot be posted legally on the internet without permission from the author and publisher.

Hi Brian, welcome to the forum. I’m in East Cowes and have a very good collection of nautical book but unfortunately the Anatomy of the Ship Pandora is not one of them, you could pick up a used copy on line for £40-50 however if that’s outside the budget for repairing the model I do have a copy of the Anatomy of the ship Diana that I would be happy to lend to you, She’s a later class 5th rate frigate but the rigging would be very similar, and an unprofessional eye would not notice any small differences the rigging drawings in the book plus any salvaged damaged parts would I’m sure enable you to restore your model to your satisfaction.

If you are only willing to purchase one book, rather than a one trick pony monograph, you could get the primary reference that the authors of the various monographs used:
The Masting and Rigging of English Ships of War, 1625-1860 by James Lees

well this and the data tables and formulae published in the various contemporary shipbuilding and rigging books - Steele being close enough for 1779 probably - and I think many or most of these are available on-line at no cost.

ok no problems,thank you
