next step: preparing en placing the beams.
Additionally, I have installed a section of the orlofdek. I did this because I want to make the ladders visible, as shown in the attached diagram. I will also install LED lighting so that I can highlight as many details as possible.

In the meantime, I have finally figured out how to install the stern.
After all, I was looking for a solution to position the stern (with windows), taking into account the curvature of the whole structure. In other words, how to attach the stern to the hull?
In the captain's cabin, furniture is provided against the window section in which, among other things, the ship's rudder is stowed away (photo).

For this purpose, I am providing a wooden block (in one piece) with the required curvature. This block will become part of the cabin, and at the same time I will attach the lower part of the stern to it.

Houston, I've two problems!
Originally, I planned to cover the Gun deck with 1.5 x 5 mm strips (ps I managed to get hold of some very nice oak strips!).
But, a test has shown that the distance between the Bulkheads is too large (+- 60 mm) to make a sturdy deck (the strips fold easily and are difficult to lay evenly...).
The solution is to install a plywood deck as a base (1 mm thick)...to glue strips onto it.
However, the Main deck must and will be fitted with openings to provide a direct view of the Gun deck. So here too, I need to find a solution (after all, I wish to glue the strips directly onto the beams, but will there be sagging here as well?).

In the photo below, you can see the shaded lines where the Gunport openings need to go. This means that a piece needs to be sawn out of several Bulkheads!
But later, the Maindeck needs to be placed on the supports provided for the Beams... How do I solve this?

The beams rested on strakes of clamps on the ship rather than on protrusions on the frames. Why not do it that way, even if they are only small pieces rather than a full strake where you have to cut out the toptimbers. The clamps for the lower decks are labeled below. It would be the same configuration for the upper deck and the clamps for the upper deck would be five inches thick on a 28.

Sorry, I have no experience with this kind of construction so of not much help to you. All I can think of is cut off the protrusions on the frames adjacent to the frame that you have to cut off to add the gun port then install the clamp or a piece of what would be the clamp for the beams to rest on. The clamp is no more than a thicker plank on the inboard side.
