completed october of 2018 my first large scale wooden ship build since then i have completed the a.l. bounty, the a.l. virginia , and am currently working on the m.s. rattlesnake at 1:64 i will post pics of these builds shortly. last pic is of completed ship. see what i mean about block size

thanks for the encouragement. i soak the sails in boiled black tea for about 45 - 60 seconds, rinse with cold water and let dry then coat them with matt water based urethane . when almost dry i roll them up and let dry overnight . i can then pre -shape them and use the bunt, leech , clew and reef lines to draw them up to the finished look.
