Brilliant,I remember being transfixed watching a program many years ago showing a large RC model of this ship with many functions. If I am correct,I think it was built by a modeller by the name of Brian McFadden. It was fully scratchbuilt long before the days of Fleetscale's semikits.

Kind Regards

Nigel

Correction to my original post, after some digging it was was Alex McFayden who built the model.Got confused with a member of a Boy BandROTF
I can't find any pics to speak of but here is a later creation of his,the proposed battleship design that was never built,G3.

Kind Regards

Nigel

Fascinating. I had the opportunity to spend a few nights and days on the battleship USS Massachusetts. Our local BSA troop would travel to Fall River, Massachusetts and spent two nights and days berthed on the ship. It was great opportunity to explore and marvel at the size and complexity of the ship.

Hi All,
Here are some photographs and plans from one of the books my dear wife got me for Yule. The book in question is the same as my post ( may I apologise for the quality of the photos)
