Hello, are you still working on the bow section? I am building it but I am a bit confused about the second planking. Does it completely cover the first planking or is the second planking cut away at the area where the copper plates go so thhat they are flush with the second planking. The instructions show a pictures 34 and 35 of the second planking which looks like the planking go fully over the first planking

It seems to be customary to put the copper over the second planking. The copper was fitted over the planks on the real thing so there would be a step at the top of the copper.
