I have no idea what i'll do with the model when completed, It's larger than I first thought. I'll maybe donate it to a school history dept or something along those lines.This might have been brought up before and I missed it, but where will go when all done? Please say it won't be by a window where sunlight can come in.

Sorry to bother, mate. The companionway steps loook a bit out of scale, given the fact they are less than 1 mm thick even in 1:48 scale. You did great so far, then consider to scratch them from fresh. Not a big deal, but that would make a huge difference to any trained eye, once the model is done and presented.
