Wow - what made you choose the Caldercraft? I hear it's the best and most authentic to the Trafalgar era?
There were plenty of people building it. If doing it again I would look at kit reviews of other brands. Lots of wrong part numbers or instructions in the plans, poor quality walnut that just crumbles when cut from surrounds, broken or missing castings I had to get replaced. If it wasn't for other builders help I wouldn't have got far.
