HMS Victory Cross Section - 1:98 - Corel Build

When I built mine a few decades ago... okay, nearly four decades ago... lol... I used the heavy metal foil that was fitted around the top of wine bottles (before heat shrink plastic became more common)... to form the thick bands that go around the masts. Because the foil was both thick, very "moldable" (was it lead?), and easy to cut with an exacto knife, I was able to shape them very nicely against both the round mast as well as the vertical rectangular piece that's mounted to the front of the mast. If you can still find something similar, its a good material to use for that purpose.
