Hammocks on ships
Hi guys Just watched a great movie I got recently Its called " hms defiant " made in 1962 The point is I seen in the movie the hammocks in the netting and they were all standing up not down Just thought this might be helpful as I want to put them on my vanguard Cheers snowy

I use netting from Janns Netcraft, a fishing supply store. Used it to simulate scales when you airbrush a lure body. You can see it on my HMS Pegasus build page 15. https://shipsofscale.com/sosforums/threads/hms-pegasus-by-amati.5976/page-15
The material is called Tulle netting. I get it from my local Joann Fabrics store, it's commonly available as a dress-making fabric. It's used to make veils and for fancy work on things like wedding dresses. Available in various colors including black. Cutting it precisely requires some real patience but the results are worth it!
