Hi, a quick question. On HMS Victory model should footropes (horses) be tarred or only the stirrups? Google AI brings up different opinions saying that footrope is also tarred to ensure sailor's feet do not slip off on it and for preserving the rope of course. Current HMS Victory museum shows pictures with tarred stirrups but with bare hemp footropes. Thanks.
