I am considering building the HMS Victory. I have experience in model ship building so thought I am ready to tackle the Victory. The boat is a large one and the kits are expensive so I do not want to make a mistake in the version I choose. Anyone out there with some advice on the manufacturer to choose, or avoid? My other problem is I am in Canada and some will not ship to Canada with the US/Canada trade conflict in progress. Is there a non-US source for the Victory the you have used? Any comments will be helpful.

Caldercraft\Jotika is the best, order it from UK

Occre also have the new releases that look pretty good. and they do free shipping world wide. I questioned this when i was looking at placing an order for it. (didnt end up getting it though) however looking at the website it appears that they have sold out of that release.
Artesania Latina also have a new release that looks good as its an anatomy version so all the decks are complete with equipment and lighting.

I went through the register on Modelshipworld of build logs compared to completed Victory.
195 builds of which 15 are marked as completed.
That is less than 10%.
The figures for Vasa are 41 compared to 11, about 25% completed.
So to everyone trying their hand at Victory, good luck!
