Hi Uwe,

It is a very fine type of soldering iron. This is used to burn a drawing into the wood. See below an example I just found at Bang good, a complete set.

Weller or dremel also have these type of tools.

This can also be used for burning treenailing into the wood. Mmmmm I think I have to test this.
