Thanks for the information.

I was out earlier at my favorite Model Ship shop where there service is always friendly and helpful and always with a smile.

Unfortunately for the Blandford Project he cannot supply larger timbers as he does not normally have the customers that require the larger width timbers.

Adrian the owner of Float a Boat with his wife, was good enough to look up a timber supplier that will deal with the hobbyist and gave me the Name and Address details.

I updated the first post in this Topic with Mathews Timbers details. They also sell the more exotic timbers.

If anyone else knows of suppliers in Australian that are not in the listing that should be please send me the details and I will add it to the first post to keep it all in one area.

I have just added another tool supplier to our Australian listing being Sonic Miniature Tools. He deals in miniature tools for our type of hobby.

He also has it listed on eBay.

I was shown yesterday a very nice pad to attach to the Dremel for sanding. I have seen the results and have included www.veneerinlay.com.au/ in the Australian Hobby list of suppliers. I will leave it to Brian to tell the story on this link

https://www.shipsofscale.com/sosfor...er-pad-holder-for-dremel-tool.1659/post-25645

I intend to buy some sanding equipment from them and Brian will also piggy back with me for more supplies. We will share the postage to keep cost down.

Members from the otherside of the world probably will find these locally or from China

Thanks for sharing the information Brian. That is what a forum like SOS is all about. One member helping many members.

If any member has a supplier that should be included in our first post listing in the topic please send me a PM and I will include them

Cheers
Geoff
