Hi all
On many Corel tables this hook shaped (figure 13) thing is shown in the rigging section..I have no idea where they are attached or belong.
Thanks in advance for your responses

They are most likely eyelets that are being fixed to the deck. By creating a hook at the end they will provide more tensile resistance than by gluing alone through the hole.

Many of your running rigging lines and some of the standing rigging will be fixed to points on the deck using the eye of the eyelet.

Thanks for your immediate response Chestcutter
Is the same version also used in the original tall ships or are they designed to ease the ship modeling.I normally use this type annelini with increased glueing area(attachment)
This figure 13 hook needs a bigger hole than the diameter of the used wire i presume unless the hook part opens bysellf after inserting into the deck .Adjustment of the height uniformly of the overdeck standing (visible) neck (visible part under the eyelet) compared with nearby standing with hooks is also time spending i think.
Wish you a nice weekend if it is not already passed away otherwise a nice and healty week.
