We totally understand and sympathize with what they are going through in parts of Europe, including recent wildfires, as rain has been way below normal here in SW Florida until the past week. We asked two of the grandkids how it has been for them as they got a summer job at a resort hotel several hours north of Oslo, Norway. They said it is nothing like that at all so far north and they are very happy with the temperatures there compared to much of Western Europe or even back home in Kansas. "Cool" way for them to spend the summer and make some spending money along with making new friends from all over Europe. I would be very happy for a couple weeks with them to get out of our local heat.

Oh, yes, we are promised another heat spell, but all told, we are so very lucky! Imagine there were half a metre snow to shovel with this kind of temperatures!

You get used to the heat. Today it was 28 degrees C. And I find it pretty cold today Next week it will be a little warmer.
