So absurd it's not worth a comment, but if anyone was dumb enough to send money, if you use PayPal, they're great on refunds. Here, the desciptions are so far off you'd have no problem getting your money back, of course that's why he insists on anther form of payment.

Looks to me like one of those model ships built en masse out of the Phillipines in the '80s.. could be wrong though..
As for art work and auctions, even Sothebys gets it wrong sometimes.
Out of interest, did you know that in most countries, artworks are taxed differently (more advantageously)? Which is why many of the very wealthy get into masterpieces. Maybe this is another example of tax avoidance.... Ship-1

I told y'all not to wait - it's up to $425,000 now (or Best offer). I think they had to raise the price when the realized the extraordinary detail in the 2 included boats:

Yep, maybe some egomaniac who likes to brag about how much he paid for something might hit "buy".
If he's smart(er), he'll save a screen shot of it, then make a Best Offer of $10 or so, maybe get it and brag to his friends about his almost half-million $ purchase. Still, not a good buy for $10 plus $143 shipping, for a model that is "partially disassembled, resulting in some elements separating or fracturing".
