Hello everyone,
Thanks to the collective efforts of the team, our ICTINEO-II project has now entered its final closing stage. I sincerely thank every member for their dedication and hard work during this period.
Here are some completed photos to share with you all. It should be noted that the copper armor on the stern will later be oxidized to a gunmetal black, a step that should have been completed before fixing. In order to document and share the current status promptly, these photos were taken before the oxidation process for your appreciation and feedback.
We look forward to your comments and suggestions.

We are using this phase to gather feedback from Chinese ship modeling enthusiasts in order to make further improvements and refinements to the product. The kit will be considered for distribution in other regions only after it has been fully optimized.
Therefore, we do not recommend purchasing this kit through eBay at this time. The version available on that platform may not be the final one, and it might also lack proper after-sales support.

Based on the kit photos, these pieces appear to be made of wood. For such a high price, shouldn't they be made of copper or at least metal?
Or are they made of metal and these are simply the base where the copper is attached?

First of all, regarding the two plates you marked, they are designed as a specialized template for cutting 0.1mm thick copper foil, and this is already mentioned in the product manual.
Secondly, the list price for this kit in the Chinese market is approximately USD 130.

I sincerely suggest everyone hold off on buying this kit from eBay for now, just wait a little longer.
There are basically two reasons:
If there's something we did wrong with the kits sold in China, we'll replace the parts for free. But for the ones bought on eBay, even if we want to take care of it, we can't do anything about it. If you end up losing out, we can't really help you.
The ones sold on eBay come with a manual in Chinese. It's not very convenient for you to read.
We know everyone's waiting eagerly, we're even more anxious than you are! The official channel should be ready in about 1-2 months. When the time comes, buy it here, and you can play with peace of mind, and we can also provide service.
Thanks for everyone's trust and support! We'll be able to make the "official announcement" and meet you all soon!

Total approximately $500.
I think it's a highly sought-after kit (I would buy it myself), but at that price, it's very expensive. What's better: selling a few expensive kits or many at a reasonable price? Think about it, because I hope they sell us a lot of Ictineos.
It could be a bestseller!
