OCCRE has been peppering me with emails and special deals for models these last few weeks. One of them was the Endurance. When I finally got a notice that I could get it for $290 CAD, I tried to order it. When I put it in the basket, the price jumped dramatically. I contacted the company and after much prompting and almost two weeks, I got a response from customer service stating they couldn’t honour the price. I have never had a company go back on an offer like this. Has anyone had similar experiences with them? Curious. I thought they were a reputable company.

Maybe try a high quality kit instead. The first that comes to mind is from Modelship Dockyard which in your case is even better as it is distributed in Canada from Zoly at Drydock Models and Parts. Vanguard from the UK makes a good kit if their particular ships are of interest.
