I guess this is my introduction?
I live in Pittsburgh PA. USA.
I joined this site to get help building a wooden ship named Cutty Sark.
I am surprised at the number of countries represented here!
I am now retired, I worked as an Electrical Engineer where I traveled extensively around the world.

Welcome to the forum Jim.I have done work for the real Cutty Sark.I worked for the company responsible for the structural reinforcement after the fire and the support system that allows the ship to "float" above it's dry dock as it now sits.

Kind Regards

Nigel

Thank you all for your comments , one problem which has developed for me building a kit without written instructions is that I do not know the correct diameter for the various sections of the masts. I have the material but can only guess which piece goes where?
