Thought I'd best introduce myself as I am spending enough time on the forum learning stuff that it would only be polite.

I'm an Aussie but haven't lived there for years. Born in Melbourne, grew up in North East Victoria (Beechworth) studied and worked in Melbourne then Brazil (São Paulo) then moved to the UK (Kenilworth) when Holden engineering died and I am now in Saudi Arabia (Riyadh).

Getting a little more time to myself here (kids are now at Uni) so I brought over an Amati Xebec to have fun with. I've got a very long term project going on with an Arkit Cutty Sark however it was too big to easily bring to KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) hence the Xebec.

I'm enjoying the amazing models and skills on display here so G'day / Hello / As Salaam Alaikum / Olá.

I will be happy to recommend you a cool service thanks to which I was able to get to Chernobyl for the tour - chernobylstory.com . That Xebec sounds like a great project. And yeah, Cutty Sark’s not exactly travel-sized. Glad you’re finding time to enjoy the hobby again. Looking forward to seeing your builds!
