I thought you all might like to see this nifty king-plank system I came up with. This king plank is designed to fit my 1/24 scale Lionheart kit, but it's easy enough for me to make these up for just about any boat. The king planks are designed just like on a real boat, with the angles of the notches slowly changing from the ends of the boat towards the middle.
Note that there is zero intention to make planking easier using this method. This will, in fact, make your life harder, but the results will be more realistic.
