La Santa Maria - Artesania Latina 1:65

It happened to me again, I ran out of thread to finish the rigging for the flags... and I still need to fit the spritsail... I guess it will be a couple of weeks while I wait for the replacement order to arrive.

Replacements were shipped by Artesania Latina but not received yet. However take a picture of how will be the ships displayed once get Santa Maria done.

One obvious detail in the photo is the difference in color between the Pinta and the Niña and the Santa María.
I’m going to use the history to cover up my mistake if someone asks about it or points it out: the Santa María only made one voyage, since it ran aground in the Caribbean and never returned to Spain, unlike the other two. For that reason, its sails never had the chance to become as stained or weathered as those of the Pinta and the Niña.;)

Hopefully, I’ll get the first plank installed, fully cut, and ready for sanding by the end of the day!!
