I suppose you mean the rope barrel in front of the ships wheel, I now realize that I should have moved the barrel behind the front wheel support but the kit actually made no provision for the connection of the ships wheel to the rudder and what you see was my modification. I agree the barrel should be behind the wheel suports. (I think it is too late to change)
You can probably still add an extra support on the front end if you have a bit of spare wood, and don't worry because the kit is a long way from how the real Hussard was built anyway.

Your decision of course. :) If you decide to "unglue" and fix it, the wheel is usually as below in relation to the drum/barrel. The way you have it the line will be in front of the wheel instead of aft of it.

Now the sails, This will take a while as it involves sewing (which I am not good at)

I did not Sew the sails ( I paid a Seamstress (I think that is what you call them) to do that). I am doing the afterwork such as attaching the spars, Blocks and the additional ties to the sails. At my age this is difficult work & time consuming but satisfying too

Hi Omega, Very smart to use a seamstress :) What is the spacing of the cloths (panels)?
Thanks!

Also lifeboats & others
Just as a point of information for the future, the oars were typically 3 to 4 times the breadth of a ship's boat. The following is from The Elements of Rigging and Seamanship by David Steel 1794. The principal in determining the overall length would have to be the same for any nation's boats.

The lifeboats which I have already done, have ores included. How accurate they are, I am not sure as they were cheap Chinese models. I thought they looked all right though ( See earlier photos)

Installed the Masts and the first main lines with dead eyes - now for the rat lines. there are a number of way I can do this.
1 tie the rat lines by hand one by one
2 use a frame and glue the rat lines to the main lines
I prefer the second but with what I have available it may not work

Started the Rat Lines. Using Houdini equiptment left over from the previouse ship, needs some modification but I hope I can make it work. Using PVC glue as this should mostly dissapear when it dries ---- We shall see??
Still having problems with the photos rotating
