New design Le Saint Philippe -1693 - 1:48 by Trident Model Update 1005

Hello everyone, it’s been nearly half a month since my last update. The project hasn’t stopped — on the contrary, I’ve been working nonstop.

I’ve been buried in the preparatory work for CNC machining, which involves an enormous amount of work. Today’s update is about the bow frames. All curved surfaces of the frames will be CNC machined in one piece. Achieving satisfactory results purely by hand sanding would be a nightmare-level challenge.

The toolpaths have been fully completed. Tomorrow I will post photos of the machined parts as well as the assembled frame. It’s getting late. See you tomorrow and good night to myself.
