Interesting will be, how the market price will develop, after the kit is sold out by Lego
Most of these kits will be bought by collectors, who will never open the box
There are other older kits existing, which are now dealed for several thousands of Euros - for example buildings or the StarWars series
 
Agree. I understand the aspect of collectors, but what a shame to spend that amount of money on a model kit (although Lego, I don't see this release as a toy) and then never build it/enjoy it. You most certainly have a valid point; I remember the large Lego Death Star being popular when it was released, and now that sells for ridiculous sums of cash, assuming you can even find one.
