This boat is on my wishlist. I don't think I would be brave enough to add extra barrels to the hold though.

Did you get the pre-made sails with this kit?

I'd suggest modifying the hull with an opened hatch - it was relatively easy. And as far as I know Falconet now provides large barrels (we are going to get them with the next shipment)

The kit came without the sails. I still got pre-made sails - I'm terrible with a sewing machine.
