I got the barrels mounted to the carriages and the carriages temporarily pinned to the deck

I made the eye bolts which will hold the cannon retaining rope and installed them in the bulkhead.

i got the pintles and gudgeons installed on the rudder and hull and mounted on the ship.

I got the stanchions and cleats built and installed. I mounted the bowsprit and rigged it so I think I better work on the gunport hatches next.

I got the head rails and timbers installed today.

This is my first build and am certainly open to comments as I need all the help I can get. I planked the hull with walnut and I think I'll do the deck and masts in mahogany. I bought this kit back in the early 80's so I figured it was about time to get with it.
