I've spent some time lurking here and there looking at build logs and admiring what others have done. It was about time I come out of the shadows and start a build log of the ZHL Black Pearl. Some of the build logs here inspired my to pursue this kit and share the build here.
I have a Model Shipways Prince De Neufchatel that's been on my work bench for almost 2 decades that I'm 98% done with. Once that's done, I'll dig into the Pearl. hopefully it won't take another 16 years to complete the Pearl like the last/current one.
I've built several model ships over the years. Some plastic (Airfix - Wasa, Lindberg - Jolly Roger/La Flore, Revell - Victory, Heller - Royal Louis), and some wooden (Model Shipways Phantom and Prince De Neufchatel).
