I live in the Gainesville / Haymarket Va area and looking for any model ship builders in my local area.
I need a hands on mentor to assist w/ building advise of my modeling projects,
Sterling Yacht America, Blue Jacket Yacht America, and a free hand solid hull Robert McClintock Chesapeake Schooner.

If you cannot find a local mentor, consider starting a build log here at SoS with photos and questions. If you let everyone know you are looking for help I am sure you will receive constructive feedback. There are ship model clubs near DC and one or two in Hampton Roads.
