Ahoy!

Recently we acquired the rights to bring back the Midwest kits, which we are manufacturing here in Miami.
We already have 14 models available.
Our latest re-issue is the Grand Banks Dory.
I have to put it for sale on our website and I am looking for picture.
One of our members - jbc77 - has alreday provide me his pictures. Thanks, sir!
If anyone would be kind to provide theirs, specially with the sail unfurled, it will be duly appreciated.
I'll give credit to the images, of course.

Thank you in advance, Ricardo

WE have another completed building log made by @BMT

or also others

I am not american and not aware about the terms or the history of these Dorys, so I have to ask :

Is there a difference in the Midwest Grand Banks Dory and the Lowell Grand Banks Dory?

Doesn't David still have photos from when he designed and built the original?

Thank you, sir. But that build log is of the Sea Bright Dory (976). I am talking about the Grand Banks Dory (966).
I browsed the website, but I only found the logs of the Model Shipways Grand Banks Dory. Which makes me proud, but.. I'm on a quest!

As for the difference between Midwest's and Model Shiopway's Dories, Midwest's has a sail.

Thank you for your help,
Ricardo

I've built both the Midwest and Model Shipways versions, and they're quite similar. I bought the Midwest version because of its price and the fact that it's called Sea Brightas, and also because my sister lives right down the road.

I hope that helps, those are my reasons

And a beautiful build, by the way!
