Make your own planking clamps. Plank on frame ships.

Great idea.! I am always looking for new clamping ideas. But, those are spendy.!! I wonder if there is a local to U.S. supplier.?? Have to do some research.!!
Thanks, Brian
You can always try different sanding shapes to bring pressure points to where you need them, small or full length.

MY OLD MOTHER ALSO HAS OF THIS TYPE, -
At times it is an advantage to never throw things away but with added decades of hoarding. . . who doesn't use a clothes dryer? . . . we have a couple of plastic bags full of wood clothes pins. Hobby Lobby and maybe Bed and Bath should carry them . . . often plastic now but wood is still around. PT-2

I was able to pick up a bag of about 24 wood ones from local Wally World (aka Walmart) for only a few dollars.
I have found out from trying to clamp strips on my 19 inch canoe that the smooth faces of the sanded clothes pin clips want to slide/rocket off of any V shaped face. I am considering gluing some fine grit sandpaper to the inside faces for a friction grip. A few of the present ones rocketed across the bench several feet and the sound of departure and uncontrolled landing was shocking! PT-2

One advantage of age is growing up with wooden clothes pins and the WWII save it for the effort and don't throw anything away. I just had to remember where our sacks of them had been shuffled around. PT=2

Try these..they work for me.
Many Thanks for showing us
