Making ropes take up catenary curves.

Like with a lot of model making, you need to practice to find what is right for you. Then put what works on the model.

I made these foot ropes judging the curvature and length, found a glass jar, taped the ropes around the arc and wetted the ropes with a thin mixture of pva glue. When dry, I peeled them off and attached them under the sprit.
