Maris Stella kits from China

Really surprised to see round deadeyes for this era of ship included in the kit. Triangles and of the correct scale have been ordered to replace what was included. Round deadeyes are more later 17th century and definitely not that scale as show in one photo. Not a big deal but definitely something to make note of. I also supplied the grating and banisters as none were supplied with the kit. I really like the wood and is making up for all other issues encountered considering I replace most supplied with other kits too. She is really starting to come alive now with exterior details. I’ll start the inner bulwark building again soon.

Glad to hear you finally received the kit and that, apart from a few details, you are happy with it.
After several attempts, I have now finally asked Maris Stella whether they feel my request for information is just not worth honoring, or if I should simply look for another supplier instead.
Either way, it has been a very disappointing experience with Maris Stella.
