Well here is my helper that visits the workshop from time to time.

He is Theodore, or Theo for short, my year old English Bulldog.

I got him a year ago at Christmas as a gift, he was born on the 23rd of Dec so a perfect timing for me.

He thinks he is the Boss, and has that bulldog attitude for sure, but he love to run and play and then rest when tired.

He thinks my lap is a good pillow when he gets tired, and yes that is my big fat belly he is laying next too!

my helper is a Belgian Shepherd. a Tervuren. very active and smart. she loves to run and even teases other dogs into chasing her. also loves to run beside cyclists although they tend to freak a bit. when im doing stuff she loves to hang out and sleeps under my desk. Her name is Trinny (short for Trinity) she is nearly 3

My “helper” is a ferocious 70lb Pit Bull. I use the term helper loosely since if I’m in the basement shipyard she’s on the 2nd floor hiding in the closet. She really dislikes the noise coming from the shipyard which is usually me swearing! ROTF ROTF ROTF

I love seeing all these pets. I'm a dog person so here's a pic of Echo. She doesn't belong to anybody ( She's a rescue) but I take care of her much like a servant. She is nine years old and is a mix of Bernese Mountain dog, German Shepherd and Labrador Retriever. She has the build of the Bernese, the attitude of the GS and the Lab part must be the floppy ears but the Bernese has floppy ears too. She eats non-stop, sleeps a lot while supervising my ship yard and runs like a deer whenever she has the chance. She also has her own TV which in under my desk and watches animal shows and cartoons a lot. I don't know how anyone can live without a dog.

Dogs and cats... it's like discussions about manual versus automatic transmissions on car forums. That said, I'm a fan of felines... though I'd never let my two girls anywhere near proximity to anything I'm building (or have completed). Between the paws, teeth, and natural curiosity they're a true threat to scale nautical endeavours.

Oh ya...My Rosie sank 3 of my first models...They sat mangelled on a shelf for a year before I decided to repair them...The cat avitar isn't Rosie by the way. Its an engraving of Mathew Flinders cat.
