Browsing SOS I am impressed by the ingenuity exhibited by members in supplementing their kit of standard modelling tools.
Stationery cupboards (at the office?) have clearly been raided to provide rubber bands, bulldog clips, foldback clips, crocodile clips map pins, thumb tacks and more to be used in cunning ways. The Admiral's sewing kit and laundry basket have been plundered for needle threaders, crochet hooks and clothes pegs.
Even the children's toy box is not safe: Gibby_74 (and maybe others) used Lego bricks to ensure a right angle between bulkhead and keel. A great idea that I shall crib in the future. Often the background to the ship photos provides useful ideas - "I wish I had some of that", "I wish I had one of those", "Why didn't I think of that"
