If you ever have the need for a little anvil to help with your metal work, here is one I made for myself. Go to almost any antique shop and you can pick up an old sad iron that they used to use for ironing. You can usually get them for $5 or so. They are also great to use a weight to hold things down. I have four that I use when I am laminating some pieces of wood together. I made a little box for it and use it all the time, even as a small work area for detailed parts.
