The box was just a matchbox with matches in it, only used to demonstrate the size! The model is scratchbuilt, I have never been very good with kits and after a few half-hearted attempts at them in the early 50s, gave them up for the easier option of scratchbuilt. The frames of the Neilson were cut from 1/16th inch obeche sheet and it was planked with sycamore veneer. I got the plan from a David MacGregor book.
