Mizzen shrouds

I'm working on the Discovery1789. Are the mizzen shrouds from this era supposed to be substantially smaller in diameter than the fore and main shrouds? I'm following Mondfeld as close as my ropes sizes allow but the mizzen shrouds look a lot smaller than the others and sometimes Mondfeld has typos.
