Model collection for sale

Thanks! I will try that. In the meantime, I just made another posting. It is very hard to move these bigger models.

I will reduce the price by 50% today and see if there are any takers.

Cheers,

Rick

"yoga for the hands"

what a wonderful way of looking at model building.

i have been building models for so long i ran out of space to display them. I didn't want to stop building just because i am out of space so i thought maybe give them away, no one wanted them. so they piled up in storage until that got full. In my area there is an annual ice sculpture show my wife asked one of the artists after spending days on a sculpture if it bothered him to see it melt away.
The reply was not at all the sculpture is only the result of a moment of zen which is part of me and will stay with me forever. That hit me a flash of insight. My models they come and go i actually burn them as kindling wood. The zen of the build is what it is about not the model.

When I did Lego as a kid, they kits didn't come with specific build instructions, you had to use your imagination to build things. Like the old Erector Sets.

a slight drifting from the sales of a collection but here goes

Kind of like sand castles! and Legos

so those who take model building seriously are the ones that evolve from the hobby of assembling parts out of a box to "didn't come with specific build instructions, you had to use your imagination to build thing" i think that is called scratch building.

Hmm, well, thanks to Lego, snow forts, and sand castles, there are also those who can get through a Pocher model while, kind of, looking through those murky instructions.
