My father is building this model currently and has run into an issue maybe you can help with. The floor seems to be too long, by the length of the thickness of material (1/8"?) Did you cut yours to fit? Looking at the nail holes on the floor (By your little guys feet), it seems you may of cut it? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

As I remember I made adjustments in a few different places. At the time I wasnt sure if it was the kit or me that created the need to adjust. But for me that was the part of building that I enjoyed the most. Thankls again for checking. Tom

Thanks for the reply. I walked in on him stuck on a step and tried to help, we both were looking at all the parts and instructions and it just didn't make sense to me either. I saw everything was laser cut and seemed like it all should just come together perfectly. Looking at a few built references online shown the kit being built a few different ways even. Luckily he's no stranger to building by scratch or making modifications, I just got invested myself in trying to figure this out.
I'm going to show him your complete build, the colors and the hand painted lettering looks great. Thanks again for the insight.
