Hi everyone!
First of all, i thank you for including as member.

Im representing my father who has been building wooden ship models over 25 years.

In that time, there has been one major problem:

Rigging...

So, for the last 2 years, he has been building multiple different machines to get perfect ropes for rigging.

And today, it's finally done. We came together and worked out the perfect machine for thin and thicker ropes.

This machine is not for everyone, and I do not think all people are going to cheer on or buy one.

But it's made for those who think time is money and the only option is perfect.

We will be selling this machine for 300 EUR (330 USD) as a pre-made kit. The only thing to buy is a 20x40mm metal or wood rail from your local hardware store. Rope length can be as long as your rail. My father uses a 4-meter-long rail and gets enough material for his needs.

We are from Estonia (EU) and can ship all over world. USA might be tricky to ship while there is one specific guy in power :D

I love the slick design, I am a sucker for such things. Unfortunately at this point, I don’t need that much rope but will keep you in mind. On top of that, I live in that questionable country.

Hi, congratulations, it's a beautiful tool I'm really thinking of having to equip it, is there an instruction manual provided?
 
Thank you sir! Im working on DIY kit aswell with instructions. It will be cheaper . I havent done any calculations, but somewhere around 175eur price range. It depends what kind of parts cost are.

Hi

I took a look to your video on Etsy. Tool looks very well done. But it is really very short

Would you be able to do a YouTube, more detailed video, where do you explain and show all the details with an example. Then you can post the link to this thread.

Moreover, you have a well done rail, where the wheels fit very well. Looks like a "train shaped rail".
Will the tool work correctly on a 20x40mm " flat sides" wood rail ?
I am afriad it could derail.
On the video you can also show how well it will fit and attach on a piece of 20x40 mm wood, as you suggested.

Hi, thanks for good words. You can go 4m in lenght or even more if you have space. I think i will make better video soon aswell. This tool is built to roll on smooth surface. It does not matter if its wood or steel. All sides are same and flat. Its not railroad track. Its cheap cornered pipe 20x40 from construction store. We used regular ballbearings on both sides and top. You can adjust width by adding small washers if needed. I try to add some explanitory videos soon.
