This is only my 2nd kit build. I’ve run into a problem with the sheer plank placement. Directions are not very clear for a beginner kit. It looks like they are too wide at the back end. Should I draw a line and trim these back ? image.jpg
 
It appears as if the transom piece needs to be trimmed down to the curved line and notch marked on the wood, and the sides of the boat need to come down to match it. The transom appears to have been cut incorrectly.

The transom is to be cut down several steps from where I am now. The directions say nothing about where they are to end up. All my overlapping seem to be correct. Each side panel is a laser cut pc.
