Moving

I have moved several times with both finish models and work in progress model's. All my finish models are in a case. This makes it easier by putting paper or other material around the base to keep it from shaking. I always tried not to touch the delicate parts. I made sure the case to the base would not move. As to the unfinished model how you handle depends on where you are at in the build. In both cases I did have the movers build a wooden case around around the ships. These were longer moves. I did have a short move were I sacured the ships and just put it in my minivan. You may have some minor repair to do from the move. The only real danger is if the truck is not packed properly and the load shift. I would have movers insurance if posable not based on weight but on estimated value of the ships. Good luck on your move. You can contact me if you have any questions.
