Wow ! Thanks! Lots of pictures. Being born in Toulon where I lived until I was 19 years old, I really appreciate them. My favorite model is the "Sultane", an amazing XVIIIth century training ship which could be moved this or that way to show the effects of rolling, pitching, and heeling. And they confirm that the "Toulonnaise", which used to be in Paris, is now "home".
As I am working on the "Toulonnaise" (nearly finished) these pictures give me extra clues, some about my mistakes !!
I went back to Toulon two years ago around New Year but, alas, the Museum was shut...
