My 1/72 scale aircraft

Progress on the F-9F Panther has been almost non existent over the holidays. I resumed work last night and will show some update pictures and progress soon.

On another note, I am excited to say that I have added two more aircraft to my Jet category.
I purchased a F-11F Tiger …

and a T-2C Buckeye.

Both older jets…the Buckeye is a trainer.
That makes 33 jets now. So my collection of jets has grown significantly from 8. There are a few more I am keeping an eye out for, a F-84F Thunderstreak and a P-80 Shooting Star. And maybe a F3H Demon and F4D Skyray if I come across any decent kits in 1/72 scale.

We had an F-11 gate guard at my school for a while (military high school). Its long gone now. It was painted in Blue Angles colors. :)
What about a Cutlass? :) (big evil grin) Sheesh, the list can be so loooooong. ROTF

Update…on the F-9F Panther
The cockpit assembly and the nose gear bay assembly were completed and glued into one fuselage half, along with the arrestor hook and engine. Then the halves were joined and putty added to any gaps.

Next will be the start of the wing assembly and then the rear wings and elevators. Then the canopy will go on. Then the painting of the airplane will begin. She will be blue with white lettering and insignias.

See ya next time…
