My 1/72 scale aircraft

Hi Jeff,
That’s a beautiful Zeke. Do you still fly scale r/c?

Bill
Thanks Bill. No, I don't fly any more. I had a really good friend that owned a local RC Plane hobby shop and he passed away. It just kind of took the desire out of me, even though my love of aircraft still remains. :) I sold all my RC stuff a few years ago after carting it around through a few moves but not using any of it. Finally decided to sell it.

Beautiful collection of aircraft. I have always been fond of the cold war era jets. I guess that's because it was that time frame when I first started building plastic models. It brings back a lot of good memories.

Thanks Bill. I agree, good memories! But bad supplies...ROTF
I first started building models in the mid 70s, and I was fascinated with WW2 aircraft. Later, in the 80s, I started building jets. Back then you had to use the thick stringy Testors tube glue and the Testors paints that were oil based and needed thinner. It was much harder to create a nice model! Now with the liquid plastic glue and water based air brush paints, you have a much better chance of making a nice model. And I have much better paint brushes now as well. If I had to revert back to what I was using then, it would be a struggle! ;)
