My 1/72 scale aircraft

After a couple of days of painting, I added clear coat and decals. I decided to go with the camouflage version…

Next will be the landing gear and doors.
The main landing gear are fairly complex, with a lot of parts.
After which I can put on the bombs, exhaust pipes, and propellers. Then will be the canopy, lights, etc., and finishing touches.

See ya next time…

I love the underside color and details ! How did you do the panel lines?

Thank you!
I do a wash of thinned out black in the panel lines and I don’t have to worry about getting any outside of the line because I haven’t painted yet. Then I dry brush over the areas with panel lines and paint the other areas. It is very time consuming, but it’s a nice effect. ;)

A very nice color scheme and accentuating of the seams, Dean.

Thanks Peter!
I agree with Jeff, you hit a home run on the underside panels. The unusual rectangles and cross lines on top add to the uniqueness of the aircraft.
Thanks Daniel!

ps - Not too many 1/72 scale models have great panel line detail, so when they do it's worth the extra effort to make them show.
