Today is a milestone for my young apprentice, he completed his latest project, a 1:96 half model of H.M.S. Rose (28), a British frigate built in 1783. A replica of this ship was built in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia in 1973, and stared in the movie "Master and Commander", and is currently afloat as a museum attraction in San Diego, California. He mounted the model on a nice piece of Red Oak. Well done Felix, you are well on your way to becoming a fine modeller.
