My

Looks super!! I wish I was ship modeling back when I worked in the ship yards where we built both barges and push boats as I had access to all the blueprints. One of the yards where I worked was in Paducah, Kentucky which was owned by St. Louis Shipbuilding that built American Beauty. Next life,,,,,,,

That’s always the case for us old farts. Shoulda, coulda, woulda. If we only knew then, what we know now.

Very nice model!

I worked for Dravo Corporation for twenty years. They operated a large shipyard on the Ohio River downstream from Pittsburgh that built barges and towboats. They closed it in 1987. Their archives were stored in an inactive salt mine somewhere nearby. I wonder if they’re still there?

Wow. Beautiful job. I have this kit and just ordered the deck fittings kit. Can't wait.
If you notice that on the rails, I added plastic round rod on top. I didn’t like the bare top of the rails. I also added a stairway on each side from the 2nd deck to the third deck, on the real boat, but not on the model plans. I also added down spouts, on the real boat pictures, but not on the plans.
