I've been using those for decades, and you are correct--indispensable. Unfortunately, I have not yet found a place to get those here in Tokyo, but Gunze's Mr Mark Softer seems to work just as well.Thank you all for the BD Wishes - Greatly appreciated !!!
I had no idea that DeAg was going to wind up being such an awful co to deal with. It is now 7 months and still waiting for Stage #8. I wrote them again today and told them I did not want a FORM LETTER - I want a legitimate reason. But, I doubt I will get it. Never again with them. Disgusting.
Hi @AllanKP69 (You will love the Indy)
I strongly recommend these two solvents to aid in decal applications. You have to buy two different bottles. One is a "set" and the other is a "Solvent". The Solvents make the decals very soft, which allows the Decals to form to the 3D surface. I would say it is a MUST to have. It takes a lot of patience, but if I can do it, you can too. The "Set" bottle allows the Decal to "float" on the surface until you are happy with placements. The other makes the Decal very highly flexible, so it can make the contours.
I got mine at Amazon as the Salvinos JR Models are sold out.

Thanks Donnie, I have not built but one plastic model since about 1960 so if I jump on this, it will be darn near a new experience. Coincidently, the one I did build about 1982 was the Ferrari driven by Gilles Villaneuve right about the time he was killed.I strongly recommend these two solvents to aid in decal applications.
